About

Lori DavidsonLori Davidson is a singer songwriter who has been performing and creating music for four and half decades. She began her full time music career in the San Francisco North Beach Blues Scene in the mid-90’s working with immense Bay Area talents from Tommy Castro, Johnny Nitro and Harvey Mandel to John Lee Hooker. Her own hard hitting blues project, “Lori Davidson & The Intruders” began its evolution during that time. Their debut CD, “Slow Traffic Keep Right” received a four star review in Blues Access Magazine, and was in the top 20 of unsigned blues artists on Amazon.com for several years running.

Among the highlights in her career, Lori toured and sang with Harvey Mandel, and performed with the legendary John Lee Hooker and his Coast to Coast Blues Band at the 19th annual Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl.

She eventually settled in Tucson, AZ. from where she toured the band throughout the Western United States, and the South West for six more years.

Lori now resides in Mazatlan, Mexico and plays for travelers from all over the world. During her history there were several years on the road driving commercial big rigs, and a year of sailing on a 30 foot boat from San Francisco to Mexico, exploring the enchanting Sea of Cortez. Her second CD, “Who I Am” includes songs chronicling the beauty of the places visited, as well as the journeys these travels launched within.
